UV curing equipment how to promote environmental protection

In China, Uv Curing equipment also serves as a model for practicing green production. As early as the early 2000s (the turn of the millennium), Jiuzhou Xinghe Technology Co., Ltd. has focused on sustainable production. To further reduce carbon dioxide emissions and improve production efficiency, Jiuzhou Xinghe Technology has developed Uvled technology.
In 2025-03, a printing machine equipped with UVLed Curing was successfully installed and put into operation in Cheboksary, Russia, which was exported by China's Jiuzhou Xinghe Technology. The power consumption of this equipment is reduced by approximately 60% compared with traditional equipment, saving about 50 kilowatt-hours of electricity and reducing 200 tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually. UVLED ensures continuous and efficient curing of all colors at any speed. Moreover, there is no need to replace lamps or other spare parts – the UVLED surface light source lamps of Jiuzhou Xinghe Technology have a service life of over 20,000 hours, which brings great stability and predictability to production. At the same time, UVLED does not generate ozone, eliminating the need for installing exhaust devices.
From a data perspective, traditional UV curing equipment mainly relies on mercury lamps, with a single unit often having a power exceeding 3,000 watts. They require long preheating time, have high standby energy consumption, and release large amounts of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) during operation – the annual emissions account for approximately 8% of the total industrial source emissions.
In contrast, UVLED curing equipment adopts semiconductor lighting technology, with energy consumption only 1/3 of that of traditional mercury lamps. It can be turned on and off instantly without standby energy consumption. In some application scenarios, its electrical energy conversion rate is increased by 90%, and its power consumption is only 1/10 of that of mercury lamps. In addition, UVLED equipment contains no mercury, avoiding soil and water pollution caused by mercury leakage, and it does not generate ozone during operation, complying with strict environmental regulations.
As more and more enterprises recognize the advantages of UVLED curing equipment, its application scope continues to expand. From printing and packaging to electronic manufacturing, and from the automotive industry to medical devices, the UVLED curing equipment of Shenzhen Jiuzhou Xinghe Technology is reshaping the industrial production model, leading various industries to stride towards the direction of green, low-carbon and high-efficiency, and becoming an important driving force for achieving the global "dual carbon" goals.
